There is no one-size-fits-all SEO across every CMS. WordPress, Shopify, Magento and PrestaShop handle URLs, templates, canonical tags and performance in different ways: the same best practices have to be translated into the constraints and opportunities of each platform.
We know the technical limits and the levers of every system, so we act where it matters without fighting against the CMS. Whether you have a blog, a corporate site or an e-commerce, we adapt the strategy to the technology you have already chosen.

SEO for WordPress
WordPress is the most widespread CMS and one of the most flexible for SEO, but that very flexibility is the risk: heavy themes, redundant plugins and poorly configured taxonomies generate duplicate pages and slow the site down. We bring order to URL structure, titles and meta, canonical tags, sitemap and Core Web Vitals, correctly configuring plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math without weighing the site down.
SEO for WooCommerce
WooCommerce turns WordPress into an e-commerce, and with it come the typical challenges of catalogues: product and category pages, filters, variants and pagination. We optimise product and category pages, manage faceted navigation and Product structured data to intercept purchase-ready searches. We cover it all in depth in our e-commerce SEO service.
SEO for Shopify
Shopify is quick to launch but imposes precise constraints: a fixed URL structure (/collections/, /products/), limited handling of redirects and canonical tags, and themes that affect performance. We work within these limits to optimise collections, product pages, tags and speed, making the most of what the platform allows.
SEO for Magento (Adobe Commerce)
Magento is powerful for complex, multi-store e-commerce, but it requires solid technical skills: management of URLs and canonical tags, layered navigation, duplicate content, indexes and performance on very large catalogues. We oversee the aspects that on Magento truly make the difference in terms of crawl budget and rankings.
SEO for PrestaShop
PrestaShop is very widespread in Europe and offers good SEO foundations, but it needs to be configured carefully: semantic URLs, filter management, meta tags, duplicate content between product combinations and speed. We sort out the basic configuration and act on the critical points of your store.
SEO for Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) is an enterprise platform with its own logic for URLs, catalogues and rendering. We navigate its specific features — URL structure, faceted management, server-side performance — to ensure correct indexing and rankings even on large-scale projects.
How we work
We start from a technical audit targeted at your platform: we identify the CMS-specific bottlenecks and order them by impact. Then we act on what the platform allows you to change and, when a limit is structural, we find the most effective solution without forcing things. If you are considering a change of CMS, we support you with replatforming support and SEO migration so you don't lose rankings.
Why BlackFrog
We don't apply generic checklists: we adapt SEO to the technology you use, knowing its limits and its shortcuts.
- Actions targeted at your CMS: we solve the real problems of your platform, not the theoretical ones.
- Less technical friction: we work with the CMS, not against it, reducing time and costs.
- A foundation ready to grow: a correct SEO configuration supports content and catalogue over time.

FAQ
Do you do SEO on any CMS?
Yes: we work on the most widespread CMSs and platforms — WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, PrestaShop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and others. Each platform has different constraints and opportunities, and we adapt the strategy accordingly.
Is SEO for WordPress different from SEO for Shopify?
Yes. The SEO principles stay the same, but the tools and limits change: WordPress is very flexible, with the risk of plugins and duplicate content to keep under control; Shopify imposes a stricter URL structure and handling of redirects and canonical tags. Best practices have to be translated into the constraints of each system.
Do you have experience with Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud?
Yes: they are enterprise platforms with complex technical logic (URLs, faceting, performance, large catalogues) on which we act to ensure correct indexing and rankings even at large scale.
Does my CMS limit SEO?
Every CMS has its limits, but you can almost always achieve an excellent result by working within its rules. When a constraint is truly blocking, we highlight it and assess together whether it is worth acting on the platform or planning a replatforming.
